I selected 3D as my second elective for this unit, as I felt it would offer me more of a challenge than the other options available to me. The objective of this elective is create an A2 poster from a 3D installation, sculpture or structure that I will design. The aim of this it to understand the process of using various objects to create artwork and what they can represent. In this case, they contextual meaning behind my work is of Nostalgia 2025 a year yet to come. For this I will need to consider the aesthetic issues that I would like my work to communicate to its audience. I started by experimenting with everyday materials. Which was important for me to gain an understanding of the materials I would be working with. Below I’ve created a video that photographically shows the process I went through.
